Looks like the Cuomo probe claimed another CNN scalp (and a big one) based on an undisclosed relationship between Jeff Zucker and a "close colleague". Incestuous bunch, these newsrooms are?

When I first seen the headline on CNN I was thinking zuckerberg not zucker. My brain wanted to read zuckerberg. Then when I realized it was not zuckerberg stepping down from Facebook, which would be big news, but was only some CNN schmuck that I never heard of then I don't care. But I will show some interest when it actually is zuckerberg stepping down from Facebook. Make sense?

That CNN schmuck was the President of CNN and the woman was "his key lieutenant for the last two decades." Seems wrong though that having a relationship with someone who works for you needs to be disclosed but having a relationship with your boss is okay. That corporate level is not in my sphere of experience, fer shure.

In that case, if true, CNN did the right thing. That kind of fraternization is definitely not good for company morale. I witnessed it with my previous company, and my department specifically. Now a VP.

Gollust has since made a public statement about the relationship, and it was an outright lie according to Soledad O'brien, via Twitter. Megyn Kelly accused Zucker of promoting Gollust just to keep her close.

You know what's really crazy? META is down over 21% today (253). Thank goodness I got out at my target of $340 a good while back. Also, I can't stand that alien who runs the company.

I believe Zucker was the guy who pushed Trump into worldwide fame by giving him a shot with NBC''s "The Apprentice."

Before this, Trump was just a rich, White New Yorker who managed to snag good looking blonde women. And con the slop out of celebrity columnists.

Worse, Zucker was the guy offering to SUPPORT Trump using the CNN platform if Trump would play along. Good thing that Trump is an egoist and refused. Cn you imagine a crazy world where Fox was anti-Trump and CNN Pro-Trump?

Zucker liked Trump because he was good for ratings and thus the company's bottom line. He thought his presidency was a good bit of fun and many of the decisions the network made to capitalize on it have been rather obvious. People at CNN are nearly rending their clothes that he's gone for some reason but I never saw anything particularly special about him.

Anyway if you are a high level exec pulling in seven or eight digits a year in comp there is one real easy way to not loose your job: don't fuck your employees.
