ZZ Top faking it????

Buddy of mine recently told me that the two guys in ZZ Top actually have beard extensions and their beards aint really that long. Unable to find the answers myself I turn to you guys....Is it true? I must know, a pice of my childhood died when he told me.....

One of the dudes pops up on those television car shows. His beard looks real.

The only thing ZZ Top has faked are their live performances; they use a backing track for certain songs. I don't fault them for that as they're only a three piece.

So was Cream. They didn't need any help. Hell, for most of their glory years The Who was only 3 piece too. Roger only sang, he didn't play anything back then.

He is like the world's COOLEST guy. He showed up at a restaurant I was at back in college, and bought everyone at the bar a round. He'll talk to anyone he's sitting next to, and you will have an interesting conversation. Billy told stories for about 45 minutes, then ate some dinner, and took off.

The last couple days I've been replaying a Runrig album that contains a verse about listening to the radio, "settled down with Caroline as she sailed all summer long". It didn't make sense as a reference to a woman, but I couldn't figure it out.
