I passed VCP today. I do have more than 8 months experice on Esx 3.5.

Some advice:

1. Mock tests and Dumps do help.
2. questions and options looks same but are quite different from Dumps, so need to have some knowledge around all the concepts.
3. Go through the guides on Vmware website , they look lengthy but they are not as most of the times they say ..file >> options > check and umcheck

I passed VCP I got a valid PDF of 151 questions n answers. I had 78 out of 85 questions from these dumps only , however some questions are wrongly answer in PDF , that's y I am low on score. Still I managed to pass the exam.

this morning i did exam for the second time. and also failed. first 286 points and now 281. it felt like that i had arround 65 question correct answered, but faild. I passed on friday. I had no maximums or ports question. Not even licensing question.
I had CHAD question, statistics collection, subprofiles, loadbalancing on distr. switch, post-installation task after upgrade from ESX3 to ESX4.

Now we can see, that not only dumps have incorrect answers, but also VMware official test have mistakes. I go for test in 10 hours argh. I go sleep now.

@hraju well i got this question in my examination and the correct answer is 1.25gb as there is no 1.1gb in the options.. even though the correct answer is 1.1 but thats default size..

The ESX boot disk requires 1.25GB of free space and includes the /boot and vmkcore partitions. The /boot partition alone requires 1100MB:

guys, I can honesly tell you that this dump is full of rubbish. I would not even bother looking at it as it is full of errors. Sky2006 is probably right when sayin to not to look at the answers, but it is nice to know correct answers without double-checking on google all the time. The best dump? there is none yet, so the best thing to do is: Sybex Vsphere 4 book, vmware blueprint and hell lot of hands on experience. Anyway in next couple of days I have my VCP exam, so will give you update as soon as I get it - promise.

firewall you make a big mistake if you miss this one as it is the best and latest test out there right now, the only thing you have to do is finding the right answers, do not pay attention to the answers in the test.

Well word of advices questions are the same or a bit twisted as i mentioned earlier.. but answers i would just say cross check them. google em up or use the vreference card if u like to cross check answers. cuz alot of em are wrong.. 70% of the questions were from here.

@bonno i didn't use any guides. just took the training a couple of days back used this dump. reviewed the vreference card for vsphere 4.1 (reference card last day review) n i took the test in Saudi Arabia.. but i don't think the location matters. This cert ain't all that hard. could have done better if i had hands on experience. just have the basic background of vmware as previously have worked a little on ESX 3.5

@shovin i just used this dump which i had got from the actualtest site. but the questions are the same. and i read the vreference card twice or thrice. prepared in 10 days.

Yippy ka yaaay.. :) i cleared the VCP410.. thou got 356 but still i cleared. This dump is valid to an extent the only thing is the questions are twisted. For eg if in this dump they ask what is supported the question there would say what is not supported.. So just read the question carefully.. :)

We could also create an online version of the exam questions where people can comment on each question and add an explanation witht the proper answer.
I'll have a look and see if I can create something for that.

Why don't we compile a list of wrong questions and add the right answers.

That way we can correct the dump to be more accurate.

Im pretty sure half these questions are wrong, or a least a good portion of them.

vcpvcp how long have you been studying? Where did you take the exam?? What was your pass score? Do you have a link to the ebook?

Hello all, Passed VCP410 today with 312, 85% of questions were from this dump but still i got such a low score :( all answers in this dump are not correct and question have been reworded as well. Read exam questions carefully. But this dump is very valid

@osms selftestengine is not valid, I bought it in December, but are the old questions. I should have access to updates since February, but now I cannot connect anymore, it says account does not exysts.
