Thank you for the feedback but regfarding the USB Scratch partition, actually you are incorrect. Here is a quote from vmware docs: Due to the I/O sensitivity of USB and SD devices the installer does not create a scratch partition on these devices.
As such, there is no tangible benefit to using large USB/SD devices as ESXi uses only the first 1GB. When
installing on USB or SD devices, the installer attempts to allocate a scratch region on an available local disk or
datastore. If no local disk or datastore is found, /scratch is placed on the ramdisk. You should
reconfigure /scratch to use a persistent datastore following the installation.

also learn about the vcenter appliance got 5 questions on that!, does not make sense to me since most corporations don't use the Linux version of vcenter!,

It seems like many/most people are scoring lower to upper 400s, so either everyone is really good, or the questions are not all that radically different.

Hey, The dump is still valid, I have cleared the exam yesterday (29/06/13).

More than learning the dumps, here few tips to make your efforts easier.

A is actually correct. The question is asking what option allows a VM to *receive* packets not destined for it. E.G. the layer 2 information states the destination mac address e.g. being AAAA:AAAA:AAAA but the recipient has mac address BBBB:BBBB:BBBB. This can only happen in promiscous mode.

Tom is confusing the sending with receiving, but yet commented with so much confidence :)
