Q1: I'm pretty sure its C and D. B is misleading because you CAN boot from USB in esxi 4.1. (all my 4.1 hosts do this)

I've looked over this exam, it is nice to see that the answers are explained with screenshots taken from the official vmware documentation. This seems very trustworthy. We'll see how this goes, I have an exam next monday.

Hello Tom, I installed a new ESXi 5 to confirm question 11, and per default a new ESXi firewall didn't open 22 port. Only after enable SSH service ESX firewall open port 22.

And in oficial docs the Shell Time out is disable.

Considering a fresh install, with all default settings the option C and D are correct.

Queation 11 is incorrect. By default ESXi firewall is enabled.

C is the correct answer.. and A is the closest answer that could be right as it states the shell timeout is set too low.. in other words its not set to the default which is 0.

Personally think the way this question is phrased i would only say C is 100% correct.
