Passed the exam today (02/28) with a 450, relying on this VCE and product experience with ESXi 4. Of the 85 questions, 82 came from from this dump. Three questions were new and not in the dump, but not very difficult. For example, one graphic question showing alarm configurations, but the admin not getting warnings - answer: configure green to yellow.

However, as has been noted by a few others, a number of the answers are not correct. While I applaud vSphereKing for this herculean effort, I would take issue with about 10 of the answers in the file. A couple of the questions are listed twice, but with different answers on each, and some are flat out wrong.

For example, Exam A question 207 and Exam B question 36 list three tasks that can be performed on the ESXi Home Page, but only one of them is right (I'll let you figure out which). Exam A question 263 - 8 or more cores is the correct answer for ESXi 4 (not 16), but has been removed altogether for ESXi 5. (See page 4 of this White Paper http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/vsphere_pricing.pdf)

With that said, the dump is still very valid and a great resource. Using just the dump, you can easily pass. Just know that it isn't 100% correct and, when in doubt, check the vendor documentation (http://pubs.vmware.com/vsphere-50/index.jsp).

Xnic4 and Xnic5 were part of a nicteam. nic4 gave probs and got replaced by network admins - however traffic was still flowing via nic5 after maintenance was completed. What is the cause for this issue?

A - Load Balancing is set to "use explicit failover order"
B - vmnic4 must be manually assigned
C - FailBack is set to NO
D - Network Failover Detection is set to Link State Only

@shive* Thanks. I did remember one question that was not in any of the dumps.

It shows you a picture of a standard vswitch with the bubbles with numbers on them. It asks you to pick the bubble that is showing the cisco discovery protocol for the nic adapter. They have bubbles pointing to the vmnic, the port group group etc. the answer was the vmnic. I had never seen that question on any practice exam. The answer on the exam was bubble line 2

Passed with a 483. This practice exam was right on. Awesome job vSphereKing. I actually purchased Pass4Sure and that was solid as well. I found several wrong answers in the practice exams BUT that helped me dig deeper and do more research and testing the lab to really know the information. No Maximums. I did feel this exam was much harder than the VCP 4.1, just more scenrios than how much of this and the max of that.

Cleared in US. If you are just preparing for the exam with the Dump. Just prepare this dump or look into sscllc-V11.5, don't do both, you will confuse yourself. Because both the dumps have few wrong answers and you can esily find the wrong ones as you prepare.

I would suggest read only this and take the VMware Mock exams. You can score more that 450 with ease. Thanks everyone who prepared these dumps.!

I passed today with 333. Exam was hard. Maybe between 30%-50% of the questions came from this exam sim, so that means there were a lot of questions that I havent seen before.

Seemed to be a lot of storage ones. SCIO, VMFS 5 block sizes and max file size, unsupported virtual NIC in vsphere 5. a few NFS questions (what happens if u delete a NFS volume), couple of Network I/O control questions. I was surprised how many questions required multiple answers, there were loads.

Learn both equally. It's hard to say what the split was, but it looks like they are swapping things around on a daily basis. I wouldn't recommend just one or the other, IMO.

Everyone, to make things easier for us all PLEASE tell us where a majority of the questions came from (either Exam A or Exam B). Just don't say you passed and leave it at that because we care less if you passed if you don't tell us exactly what was on there!!!

does any one know how long it take to exam results to show in your vmware my learn account. i have passed the exam on Monday but still did not received any mails or confirmations from vmware and in mylearn account also only show the attended training if any one know something about this please let me know.

Just like Droopy who lives in the the Netherlands I also passed the exam today in the Netherlands. 400+

I only learned the A and B exams from sscllc 11.5, so at this moment it is still valid.

Exam A about 90%
Exam B about 10%
No new questions in the dump.

Just to let you know that I wrote the exam this afternoon and SSCLC's Dump A is still 100% valid in UK. just missed 400, but couldn't care less :) Don't have to sit through that boring course again!

I think at the moment if you study dump A really hard you'll practically ace it. Maybe 5 Q's from B and one new question - port number for stretched HA 8xxx is the answer, it's the only answer to start with 8.

Massive, massive thanks to Vsphereking for his amazing self less contributions, also to SSCLLC for his his work in providing an accurate compilation with great explanations. Huge thanks to all other contributors too.

Few things to mention 1) I got hammered on I/O controller questions - at least 20+ questions on this or a variation off (don't stress, they're all in Dump A :)

2) It's obvious VMware are trying their hardest to make people fail this - it's hard as nails (without a dump almost impossible) and the dumps keep shifting.last week people reported all Q's were from Dump B. My bset advice; learn A & B and particularly the logic behind the questions - memorising answers is a waste of time IMHO. I reckon dump A will hold steady 'til the end of the week at least, so that's where I would concentrate my efforts.

Good luck to everyone and enjoy the sensation of denying VMware their $3000 course fee! ;-)

The pool questions that VMware uses are like 15% new, exam B and exam A gets shifted. which means it's not difficult to pass the exam:) unless you get 50% to 80% new Qs:(

I originally studied only B. My exam was scheduled for today. Based on some others' comments I decided to cram Exam A as much as possible and that ended up being the difference between passing and failing.

I got a 372, and it seemed that 90% of the questions were from exam A.

Perfect score using 11.5 version. Both Exam A & B only saw one new question.

There are still wrong answers but my real world experience was enough to cover the difference.

To be honest I didn't learned at all and only reviewed exam B. I just wanted to give it a go with my VCP4 knowledge. But this exam tricked me. My score was 255. After the checking exam A, I can 100% surely memorize about 75 questions came from exam A in my exam, about 6 from exam B. Feeling kind of stupid now that I did not checked exam A.

To raZor from Unknown , well until 29th of feb you will not get one valid dump as we all know there is no requirements to get vcp5 for people who hold valid vcp4 and only after that period you will get one dump for maybe month or two months.
They want you to pay $3000 for whole course and not just the exam!!!!!!!
All vendors know about websites like this !!!!! Reality its that we help them earn more bucks then they helping US !!!!!!!!!!!!
