I took the exam just 3 hours ago.. and I passed with the grade of 300..Talk about taking it to close.

Anyways, I studied for 2 days using only this dump (vsphere 396q) and personally I could say the Q and A is INVALID. what is VALID in this dump are the explanation at the bottom of the questions and what I reviewed in reference with the official manual from the VCP 5 training course.

Now there are similar questions in the Dump, but different answers. if you memorized the answers your SCREWED. If you read and understand the explanation you can easily eliminate the wrong answer and arrive with the most logical one.

Everybody commented after May 25th are just claiming that this dump is not valid and that too it's not valid after 25th may.

so to make sure if you people are not spam and not people from vmware who dedicatedly work just to bring down such forums can somebody post some questions that have changed and answers that have randomized.

took test today, 85Q
compare to this dump :
less than 5 questions similar but all having different ans
less than 5 questions similar but the ans all randomize
75++ new questions and ans..

Failed today, very little of this vce was on the test. I know a person who passed with this file at the beginning of May and it was valid, so I'm guessing korabyca's comment is true, that it changed on the 25th. The questions were not just slightly reworded but very different. Not sure what advice I could give. I also studied class material and vendor docs.

All certkey exams are updated 3rd June, not just VMware so would not trust them or waste ur money!

Failed today. Only 20% of the dump. Many questions remain the same, but the answers have changed.

No spam hmong, the exam was changed on 25 may thats why you find many person valid and after 25 may all people was failed.

Yup, I failed, and I felt that I knew the questions/answers pretty well, not just memorizing. Lots of new questions and changes to old..

Failed on Friday with a 245. The exam only had about 8-10 questions from this dump.. even used pass4sure, and they were WAY off as well. I would study, not just memorize.

This Dump is not Valid in INDIA anymore. Only 10-15 Questions were from the Dumps. Don't Rely on these dumps, go through the VMware course Material thoroughly and then wait for the new dumps ;) .

This dump is partially valid say (50-55%). They changed most of the questions and most of the questions remain same but valid options are different. Do not depend on this dump but it will help you. I attended on Saturday.. all the best !

This dump is not valid. only around 10Q out of 85 are from this dump. I manage to pass though but not by much. I've used labs and vsphere documentation to prepare for the exam.

@Lee - Thanks for sharing you experience with the rest of us. In reading you questions I have seen that most of the them belong to the dump offerered here at the top of the page.

There are some like the one you have posted about the SCSI (I don't really understand the meaning of that one) but I guess the answer will be SCSI 0:0

Then the other that talks about the VMWare workstation 8 and the 16 CPUs - I haven't been able to find limitations there..

You try to add 8 CPU VM, but you can only select 4 vCPUs
c: you have 2 dual core CPUs with hyperthreading enabled
d: you ahve 2 dual core CPUs with hyperthreading disabled

I'm not very good for remembering questions.
There was also one about where something was set on a DVSwitch. Whether it was set on the dvswitch or the dvport. Cant remember what it was asking for though..traffic shaping maybe...hmmm..MTU maybe?

Hey there..JohnUS from United States took the exam on the 21st and others did the same and didn't report a drastic change like the one is being reported now which I guess it suddently just happened on 25th..

Well it will be great that if the exam has been drastically change you will share that with everyone the same day you take the test (this is what most of us would have done) instead you wait to days and then you get all the fans reporting the same thing.

All I know is that I will be taking my exam next week here is the US. If anyone wants to share a true experience it will be great otherwise please just not mess around..

- 50% questions on the dump but with different answers;
- 35% new questions.

So, they change more than 70% questions for this test. You may pass the test, but will be very difficult to get high score.

Hi, I have taken the exam today in the US and the questions were the same that I have seen in these dump. I am not sure why we are now getting comments that said they have been changed when they haven't. Please stop the paranoia try to help others.

Took this certification today in US.. Not even a Single question came from this dump.. Not Valid anymore.. They have changed this dump in this week. So guys please wait for new dump to arrive, dont waste time in this.

I'm agreeing with Bob and abc. Took it this week..there were about 15 questions from the dump...10 or so were the same question, but the correct answer from the dump wasn't available. 30-40 similar questions, but the question changed enough to change the answer. Also quite a few questions had two answers which I though were both correct.
I managed to pass, but not by much. Tough exam. Know the content, the screens, VMware DR, DVswitches and their various abilities and limitations..basically know vSphere and ESXi back to front.

This dump is NOT VALID in the US.

I took the test 2 days ago and there were only about 5 questions from this dump on it. There were many others that were close in content (actual topic covered), but were completely different questions with of course different choices for answers. My recommendation is completely KNOW the material. PS: I even bought the certkey material and it was not only inaccurate with its answers (several wrong) but it was also off as well.

I would like to schedule my exam by the end of next week. I will be craming as hard as I can during this week but I am afraid I could be delayed because some of my current assigments at work. To, John from U.S . If its an Appliance it should be an OVF (SUSE Linux) with three option as mentioned by John from AU.

If its not an Appliance it should be like a normal VM creation and windows based installation.

@john from AU - The question though says nothing about deploying from an OVF template.

1) name and location
2) storage
3) disk format (lazy 0 thick, eager 0 thick, thin)

The question regarding the installation of vCenter Server Appliance. The answers given are Disk Format and Cluster and or host.

Reading in a Vmware Supplied Course book:

During a Standard install Windows Based vCenter Appliance.
Disk Space
Memory
Processor and Java Memory Heap settings

Those are all discussed on the page.

Cluster and or host is not and niehtere is disk format..

this dump is still valid. passed today in US studying this and a certkey dump. Yes, there are some new questions. I saw about 6 new. NOT a big deal considering the number of questions on the exam, plus you should be reading the admin guides too; not just these dumps, come on.. Who ever says these dumps aren't valid well, then you should probably try again and this time, actually take the time to study the material in this dump.. trust me, its all there except for the 6-10 new questions you may see.

We had group of 5 people who took the exam. Out of which three failed and two passed. One thing is clear there are new questions added to the pool. Material studied this dump, certkey 341, actualtest 301

One other note.. I HIGHLY recommend that anyone taking this exam, to study the material and read all of the VMware Documentation before taking this exam! If you don't, there will be a greater chance you will get around a barely passing score.
