That is what I was wondering and got scared so started studying Stephens. I rescheduled my test for end of the week and some of the questions in stephens are the same and a few new ones. I am not too nervous it just took me off my game plan as I had the others down and now have 200 more to go over. :( I will post my thoughts on Friday.

plase confirm is it necessory to take the expensive training from the institute inorder to qualify for the exam, bec i read it from the site "Participation in a VMware authorized training class is REQUIRED for VCP certification".

Thanks for sharing the information and this dumps. I agree with fido for the sake of paper exam and paying bucks to pass.. VCP dumps are one material thing to depend & test your knowledge after you have gone through all the trainings and readings,, and of course thru working on ESX environment but after getting certify soak your self in hands on and real trouble shooting part as the real scenarios are totally different than taking the scenario in the exam. yes took the exam few days ago. Still valid, but i suggest that you not just certify with these dumps as you might get a job as a VCP and know nothing aand have no practical exp in the industry :)

I think C is correct as if do not have strict admission control activated, VM will still boot but red Triangle warning.whereas if you do not have enough space VM will not start. cheers

try the sistuation in a lab envirement, pretty easy to do. just reservate more memory then available and try to power on the machine :)

This VCE is really useful and seems to have most answers right.

One question that seems to conflict in different dumps:

"Under which circumstance will a virtual machine always fail to power on?"

This VCE says "C: when the virtual machine's reservation cannot be guaranteed"

but a lot of other souces are stating "B: when there is no free space in VMFS"

any idea which one is right?

in the test selftestengine VMware VCP-310 v2009-10-27 by Dug 287q.vce there an error in the question 175, the question is to open ports on a firewall to VI and VC, the test gives reply 902 and 903 while the ports are 443 for VI and 902 for VC

This collection is all you need to pass the exam thx a million. Passed with 91% nov 2009, good luck.

There are lots of survey questions. Make sure you set up a lab, if not you will not pass. You should know how to use the different products anyway. Who would want to just study a dump and pass but not be able to configure anything once they get a job :-)

Hi guys me & my friend has taken VCP 310 today & we have scored 95 & 96
Maximum questions were from VMware.selftestengine.VCP-310.v2009-10-27.by.Dug.287q.vce
Prepare well on resource pools as that's the most confusing parts when comes to questions
There were not much questions from Max config however I will recommend not to miss that as there are only 5 pages of it

Some other things to watch out:
VCB can be on physical server or on a Virtual Machine
Traffic shaping
Network security
If you have the ESX environment I will strongly recommend to go through the screen once.

I passed today and can confirm that majority of the questions are included in this vce from dug. They are word for word. I would recommend this over fatjoe's selftestengine 217 as the formatting it is terrible.
